“Dudus” Charged with St James Triple Murder and 5 Counts of Wounding

Detectives attached to the Major Investigation Division have laid criminal charges against a man following the triple murder of three men, and the shooting and injuring of five other persons including a 14-year-old girl, in Warrica Drive, Norwood, St James, on Saturday, March 26.

Charged with three counts of murder, and five counts of shooting with intent is, 21-year-old Anthony Henry, otherwise called ‘Dudus’ also Warrica Drive.

Reports from the Montego Hills police are that about 9:45 am, Henry, Spence and two other men armed with high-powered weapons went to Warrica Drive and opened fire on a group of persons walking in the community.

During the shooting, Leroy Martin and Damian Minto were shot and killed, while Spence was also shot and killed by his own cronies.

Five other persons, including the 14-year-old girl, were shot and injured, and were rushed to hospital where they were treated and admitted in serious condition.

Henry was named in an eyewitness statement, after which he was apprehended by the police and charged.

He is scheduled to appear in the Western Regional Gun Court later next week.
