Jamaica News, St Andrew: The driver of a trailer truck and the driver of a motor car, were both rushed to hospital and treated for injuries they both received in a motor vehicle accident, which occurred along a section of Mandela Highway on Monday morning, August 13.
Reports by the police are that about 8:30 a.m., the driver of the truck was traveling along Mandela highway, with the truck laden with construction supplies.
On reaching a section of the roadway the vehicle got out of control and collided with a motor car, which was being driven by the other man.

Both vehicles were extensively damaged, while the drivers sustained injuries to their upper bodies.
The police were summoned and upon arrival, both wounded drivers were rushed to hospital where they were treated and admitted in serious but stable condition.
