A male motorist barely escaped being crushed to death, or even drown, after his motor car plunge into a section of the sea in the vicinity of the Sir Florizel Glasspole Boulevard in Kingston, on Monday, February 4th.
Reports are that shortly after 3:00 p.m., the driver of the Grey Hyundai motor car was travelling along the Sir Florizel Glasspole Boulevard towards Harbor View when he lost control of the vehicle.
The car skidded off the roadway and plunged into the sea. The driver was assisted by passing motorists and he escaped with minor injuries.
The vehicle which was damaged was later pulled from the water by a wrecker.
