Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Montego Bay Side Walk and Drain Improvement Project: A major sidewalk and drain improvement project is now taking place in Montego Bay. This was evident on Monday, August 21, 2017, when Mayor of Montego Bay, Homer Davis along with Godfrey Dyer of the Tourism Enhancement Fund, Deputy Mayor Leroy Williams and Saad Campbell of the St James Municipal Corporation, went on a major tour throughout the city.

Some of the streets they toured were Union, Harbour, Church, St James, Orange Lane and a section of Howard Cooke Highway. Work has already begun on some of these roads, while workmen were also seen working on other streets. This project is also to make the side walk much more easier for pedestrians to use. Montegonians welcome the improvement to the city and congratulate the mayor and his team for the work being done.
