Jamaica News, Kingston: Tempers flared in the Gordon House earlier this week after the Opposition spokesperson on Tourism Dr. Wykeham McNeill demanded an explanation from the government over recent state appointments.
In what he called barefaced corruption, Mr. McNeil pinpointed how the government had installed four JLP activists in the Tourism Product Development Company TPDCO.
All four he said are affiliated with the youth arm of the JLP, Generation 2000 and are employed in management positions.
The persons include a vice president, a member of the secretariat and a legal advisor.
The former Tourism Minister made the revelations during his contribution to the sectoral debate.
