Jamaica Crime News, St Catherine: Investigators Probing The Controversial Shooting Incident Involving Four Police Officers, in Spanish Town, St Catherine, late last month, have indicated that the case has now been turned over to the Director of Public Prosecution for a ruling.

The case which was being investigated by the Independent Commission of Investigation (Indecom) saw three persons, including one of the police officers, and Kingston businessman Sheldon “Junior Biggs” Daley, been shot and killed.

Indecom investigators have also handed over their case file to the DPP’s officer, for a ruling.

Reports are that the three policemen went to a party being held at Chedwin Park, Spanish Town, and allegedly shot and killed Daley. While making their escape they were challenged and chased by one of their colleagues, who was off-duty at the time.

He engaged them in a high-speed chase and a shoot out.

The chase ended at the intersection of Job Lane, when the three police officers crashed into another vehicle which was traveling in the opposite direction.

The driver of the other vehicle which was also transporting civilians was shot and killed.
