Kingston, Jamaica (McN) – Public Relations Specialist and former JLP Councillor, Don Creary Beats Rape Charge Again. Don Creary was freed Thursday morning of sex offence charges on a teen girl.
Don Creary was charged with having sex with a minor.
Creary’s alleged accomplice, Shaneke Williams was charged with aiding and abetting and sexual touching.
Creary was arrested for allegedly having sex with a 13-year old girl in 2013, in a St Mary apartment, after he and Williams allegedly intoxicated the girl with alcohol.
The main witness and complainant indicated to the Home Circuit Court on Thursday morning that she did not wish to continue with the case any further – this after she was sworn in to give her testimony.
The crown offered no further evidence in the case and, Creary and Williams, both represented by attorney Tom Tavares-Finson, were dismissed of the charges.
Don Creary Beats Rape Charge in 2016
In 2016 Creary walked free from another rape charge of a 19-year-old woman, after the prosecution said that the complainant had left the island and would not be returning, and they had no contact number for her.
Creary was accused of raping the 19-year-old woman in a Meadowbrook, St Andrew apartment in June 2015.
