A domestic dispute between two family members at their home in Hatfield, Westmoreland on Friday morning, has left one man dead and another male family member on the run.
The police have given the name of the deceased as Radwayne Russell, 33-year-old, pastry chef also of Hatfield district, but they say they are unable to release the name of the accused at this time.
Reports by the police are that about 8:30 am, on Friday, Russell and family members were at home, when an argument developed between him and the accused.
During the dispute, the accused armed himself with a handgun and opened fire hitting Russell to his upper body.
He then fled the scene.
The police were summoned, and upon arrival, the wounded man was transported to the Savannah la mar hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
