Latest Jamaica News, St James (Mckoy’s News): A man who attacked a licensed firearm holder with a machete, in Adelphi community, in St James, on Thursday, August 29, was shot and killed by the licensed firearm holder.

The deceased has been identified as 23-year-old Toshane Peterkin, disc jockey of Content District, Adelphi.

Reports by the police are that about 8:45 p.m., Peterkin and the other man were at a shop in the community when an argument developed between them.

Peterkin reportedly pulled a machete and chopped at the man, who pulled his licensed firearm and shot him to his upper body.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, Peterkin was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
