DIGICEL 5K RUN TO AFFECT JUTC ROUTES

St. Catherine, Jamaica (McKoy’s News)- DIGICEL 5K RUN TO AFFECT JUTC ROUTES: The Jamaican Urban Transit Company (JUTC) wishes to advise the public that over 40 routes will be affected as a result of road closures due to the upcoming Digicel 5K Run which is scheduled for Today October 7, 2017, starting at 7 pm.

In  a press release Corporate Communications Manager Cecil Thoms said, ” The JUTC and the police have put ample provisions in place to deal with the anticipated re-routing that will occur,”he continued “The police will have their members at strategic points to guide and direct traffic along the detour routes; as well as to provide security for the event. JUTC staff to include dispatchers and customer service guides will be on hand to offer guidance and customer service support to our commuters.”

He further pointed that personnel would be dressed in black and yellow so they can be easily identified.
