(JIS)Adequate Security at Denbigh: President of the Jamaica Agricultural Society (JAS) and Chairman of the Denbigh Show Committee, Norman Grant, has given the assurance that adequate security will be in place for the 65th Annual Denbigh Agricultural, Industrial and Food Show.

In an interview with JIS News, Mr. Grant said that security will be boosted with the installation of a surveillance system and the addition of Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) personnel.

This is in addition to the police and private security persons who are usually part of the security arrangements for the event, he added.

More than 100,000 persons are expected to attend the three-day event which will be held on the Denbigh Showground in May Pen, Clarendon, from August 5-7, under the theme: ‘Grow What You Eat…Eat What You Grow – a Salute to Our Farmers, Nation Builders’.
