Defending Champions Jamalco off to One of their Worst Start in The Clarendon Netball Association Senior League

Jamaica Sports News, Clarendon: After going down by 2 goals to team “R” in last Sunday’s season opener, the many time defending champions Jamalco, were again beaten in round two.

The Winston Nevers coached Jamalco who has dominated the Clarendon League over the years, lost out to Cavalier 50-44 on Sunday, at the Mineral Heights court, in what could easily be described as the worst start to a season in the team’s history.

In Sunday’s other Juci patties senior league game, team “R” made it two wins from as many matches with a 55-43 win over Denbigh “A”.

Hayes superstar registered the biggest margin of victory in the junior league, beating Central “B” 55-3, to make it two wins from as many matches.

Toll Gate stopped Glenmuir “B” 29-15, Denbighshire “B” were 31-7 winners over

Harmons, Portland Cottage beat Denbighshire “C” 19-5, Knox defeated Glenmuir “A” 25-11 and Blackwoods outscored Longville Park 33-19.

Matches in the competition are played every Sunday at the Mineral Heights court in May Pen.
