Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: Detectives attached to the Half Way Tree Police Station in St Andrew,  are now asking members of the public for their assistance, to identify the body of a man which was found in a decomposing state, in an open lot on Hope Road,  Kingston 5 on Sunday, July 29.

The deceased is of dark complexion, medium built and about 5ft 6ins tall.  He also sports an unkempt hairstyle and is believed to be in his mid-thirties.

He was clad in a black polo shirt,  khaki pants and dark colored socks.

Reports by the Half Way Tree Police are that about 11:20 a.m. on Sunday, residents living at Hope Road stumbled upon the body and alerted the police.

Upon arrival of the lawmen, the body which was discovered had multiple bruises and a section of the head bashed in.

Anyone who can assist the police with the identity of the deceased is being asked to contact the Half Way Tree Police.
