Dear McKoy – Seeking Advice for Accident Injury [Mckoy’s News] – I am an avid reader of your columns and I’d just love to commend you on the hard work and advice that you’re giving to those in need.
I think it’s only fitting that I ask for some advice on a complex decision that I have to make. About 6 years ago while I was overseas my daughter had an accident at school as a result of negligence on the school’s part.
While at school, a door that was reported to be falling off its hinges knocked her unconscious and shattered the nerves in her right hand. It’s an injury that affects her up to this day. Her injuries have affected her jobs over the past 6 years and we’d like to know if you think anything can be done at this point to help her out.
Thanks for being a big supporter of the work we do here at McKoy’s News!
As it regards your daughter, we’d suggest getting in touch with a legal aid lawyer in your area regarding the issue you’re having. Below is the information for a legal aid clinic in Jamaica:
Address: 131 Tower Street Kingston.
Telephone: 1 (876) 922 – 3761.
Fax: 1 (876) 948 – 9288.
We hope this will help and we wish you all the best in your endeavors.
