Jamaica Crime News: Deadly Love Triangle – An alleged love triangle which resulted in a domestic dispute between two male and a female, in Golden Spring, St Andrews, ended in one of the men being stabbed to death by the other man, and he was later attacked and chopped to death by an angry mob on Friday, February 22.
So far the police say they are only able to confirm the identity of the first victim who they identify as 27-year-old Dwayne Oakley, otherwise called ” Cutter” a farmer of Mount James district in Golden Spring.
The police say they are unable to give an identity on the second victim or to give a comment.
Reports reaching Mckoy’s News are that on Thursday an argument developed between Oakley and the other man, alleged over the other victim having an affair with his girlfriend.
It is further reported that Oakley attacked the man, but the dispute was quelled by residents in the area.
About 4:50 p.m., on Friday, Oakley was at a section of the community when another argument developed between the two men. A knife was brought into play which was used by the unidentified man to stab Oakley multiple times to death.
The accused then fled the scene, but our news team learned that later on Friday night, angry community members armed themselves with knives and machetes and went in search of him.
They caught up with him at a section of the community where he was chopped and stabbed to death.
