Kingston, Jamaica (Mckoy’s News) – Davina Bennett Returns Home: Jamaica welcomes home the 23-year-old beauty queen today. She arrived on Jamaican soil on Tuesday, November 28, after placing 3rd in the Miss Universe 2017 – 2018 beauty pageant in Las Vagas, USA. 

The natural beauty who shocked the world with her natural dark skin tone and huge afro, as she strutted in the Miss Universe contest, beating over 100 women to make it to 3rd runner-up to the crown of Miss Universe 2017!

At a welcome home press conference held today, Davina Bennett said “Seeing the reaction from the crowed the the people in Las Vegas overall from all different races and countries, I have to say that it’s like I was the person that won!”.

Confident of her choice to sport an Afro Hairstyle, after she was advised against doing so, as it was considered not to be a good look for the contest, Davina said: “I already had the hair before the competition and my hair should not be a barrier, that should stop me from succeeding in the pageant”.
