St Andrew, Jamaica – Dallas Castle Police: A District Constable attached to the Marine Police was shot in the chest and arm after he was attacked by gunmen in Dallas Castle, St Andrew on Thursday (December 21, 2017) evening.
Reports are that shortly after six o’clock, the policeman was driving home along the Plantain Walk main road when his vehicle came under a hail of bullets. He managed to get to the hospital where he was rushed into emergency surgery last night.
The police have since launched a manhunt for a suspect who goes by the alias, “Shortman”, a member of the Cocoa Squad based in Dallas Castle. The suspect is said to be a relative of the District Constable.
