Latest Jamaica News: Curfew Imposed in Red Hills Road Area – A curfew has been imposed in Red Hill Road, White Hall Avenue, Pennant Avenue, Pennant Drive, and surrounding areas, following the murders of two residents between Wednesday, and Thursday of this week.
Those killed have been identified as 40-year-old Natalie Caseman, otherwise called “Nats” of Reds Hill Road and United Kingdom address, and Shawn Moore, Jerk Chicken Vendor also of Red Hills Road.
Reports are that about 3:00 p.m.on Wednesday, Natalie and two patrons were inside her bar which is located at the intersection of Whitehall Avenue, and Red Hills Road, when a lone gunman entered the establishment, and shot her multiple times. The gunman fled the scene.
The police were summoned and upon arrival, Natalie was rushed to hospital where she was pronounced dead.
About 9:00 pm., residents heard explosions coming from the directions of Moore’s house and summoned the police. Upon their arrival, he was found lying in a pool of blood with gunshot wounds.
The curfew took effect at 6:00 p.m., on Thursday, and will remain in effect until 6:00 p.m., on Saturday.
