Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Man Freed after Creating Public Mischief: A St. James man who is alleged to have visited the police station and made a fictitious report was freed of the charge on Monday when he appeared in the St. James Parish Court.

The defendant, Roy Miller was charged with creating Public Mischief.

Details of the allegations were not told to the court but police reports state that Miller went to the police station and made a report causing them to waste their time to start an investigation into an imaginary offense.

During Monday’s sitting, the court was told that the investigation officer has resigned from the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) and has relocated.

On that basis, no further evidence was offered in the case against Miller.
