Montego Bay Craft Market To Stage Culture Day

St. James, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Montego Bay Craft Market To Stage Culture Day: The Harbour Street Craft Market in Montego Bay will be staging a weekly Cultural Day at its Harbour Street location. Plans were outlined by the Craft market president Melody Haughton, at a recent meeting.She said that activities will include special guest act  Reggae Boombastic the  Fire Eater, who is expected to put on a grand show. The president has also invited persons to sell Jerk Chicken and Cane and Coconut, or the enjoyment of the guests.

The president said this event will be held on ship days to attract more tourists to the complex and will allow the craft vendors to increase their sales. Plans are in place to have dialogue with several tour companies transport more tourists to the complex. ” I hope the Tourism Minister Ed Bartlett will endorse this event, and make it worldwide known, so we at the craft market can get more tourists shopping,” said Melody Haughton.
