Trelawny, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Chinese Woman who Slapped Girl: the Chinese businesswoman who was caught on video slapping a teenage girl in the face in a Trelawny shop has been set free of assault due to “no evidence.”
53-year-old Chinese national Yuemei Pan, was arrested and charged on Thursday, December 7, 2017, hours after the incident occurred at a grocery store on Main Street in Clark’s Town, Trelawny.
The 30-second video footage which went viral shows Pan jostling the 13-year-old student and slapping her in the face while accusing her of stealing.

Pan appeared before the Trelawny Parish court last week and was free when no evidence was offered to the court.
