Investigators said the men ambushed the couple Thursday night as they exited their vehicle upon returning home from dinner.
They bound and shot the pair in a “brazen” attack inside their home, according to authorities.
“The family was clearly targeted,” Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said at a press conference. “They were executed.”
Police discovered their bodies Saturday night in a welfare check at the home.
Officers forced entry into the home and found the pair dead with their hands and feet bound. The home was ransacked by the suspects for guns and jewelry, according to investigators.
All three suspects were booked at Harris County Jail on capital murder charges.
“I want to thank the Harris County community for helping our dedicated investigators bring justice to the Lam family and get these dangerous criminals off our streets,” Gonzalez said in a statement. “We join the Lam family in grieving our entire community’s loss.”
