St James, Jamaica (McKoy’s News)- Repair Work At Cornwall Regional Hospital Behind Schedule: Dr Christopher Tufton, Minister of Health, at a press conference held at the Ministry’s offices in New Kingston, revealed that the work being done at Cornwall Regional Hospital, might have to be pushed back, due to unforeseen occurances.
He further stated that although progress has been made, the ventilation system will still need extensive work. He believes the previous timeline for the work to be done by the end of the first quarter of 2018 will not be met.
He further noted that more work will be under way for January, with an expansion of the accident and emergency section of the hospital which is very essential.
