St. Elizabeth, Jamaica (Mckoy’s News) – Cop Allegedly Shot Former JLP Politician after he Opened Gunfire on Woman:  Alleged eyewitnesses have said that former Jamaica Labour Party councillor-candidate, Warrenton Barham, was shot dead by a policeman after he shot a young woman in Santa Cruz , St Elizabeth this afternoon. Monday June 17.

Cop Allegedly Shot Former JLP Politician after he Opened Gunfire on Woman

Reports say that the young woman turned up at the Tabletop Restaurant, in Santa Cruz, which is operated by Barham and his wife, a confrontation allegedly pursued.

Witnesses told Mckoy’s News that during the confrontation, Barham pulled his firearm and shot the female several times.

People on the scene informed our news crew that a policeman, who was in the vicinity, ordered the businessman to drop his weapon but he did not comply and was shot.

The dead woman has been identified as Latoya Williamson, who is said to be in her 20’s.

Barham represented the JLP in the Siloah Division of North East St Elizabeth in the 2007 and 2012 local government elections.
