Contract Worker Electrocuted at Sangster’s International Airport

Latest Jamaica News, St James (McKoy’s News): Contract Worker Electrocuted The St James Police have commenced a probe into the death of a man who was electrocuted while on duty at the Sangster’s International Airport in Montego Bay, St James, on Tuesday night, December 3.

He has been identified as 28-year-old Triston Rose. One police source related that he was employed to a company that is contracted to carrying out repair works at the airport.

Unconfirmed reports are that on Tuesday night, the now deceased was using a drill, when it got entangled with high voltage wires and he was electrocuted.

The worker suffered severe burnt and was rushed to the Cornwall Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

An investigations has since been launched into his death.
