She is the daughter of Superintendent Stephanie Lindsay who is a former head of the Jamaica Constabulary Force’s Corporate Communications Unit.

National Director and Vice Chairman of Miss Global Jamaica, Neelam Ramchandani, did an amazing job according to her father Lachu Ramchandani O.D.J.P,  Chairman of Miss Global intl.

I am extremely pleased with Neelam’s production and taking over the franchise. The work she has managed to accomplish in 2 years has taken me over 20 years to produce. She went all out to make this pageant the best in history,” he proudly stated.

For the pageant organisers, although beauty, intelligence and poise are what makes a pageant queen, the pageant goes beyond that as it also used to raise awareness in the community for issues that need attention.  Known for her charitable nature, Neelam Ramchandani managed to raise $300,00.00 for the Jamaica Association for the Deaf.

This year Miss Global Jamaica, with the support of its sponsors and its patrons, raised $300,000 for the Jamaican Association for the Deaf. It was not an easy task, and it definitely doesn’t end here,” the organisers noted.
