Community Link Up, Lambs River Champions League 2019

Jamaica Sports News: The Lambs River Champions League got underway on May 12 at the Mt.Hermon Primary School in Westmoreland.

The competition which includes teams from in and around the community will seek to unite more youths and build a stronger relationship among the surrounding communities.

Competition organizer Jermaine Williams would like to thank the participating teams and the loyal fans who come out each Sunday to enjoy themselves.

The competition kicked off with one game on the 12th of May, with Ramsey Corner and Arawak Camp. Arawak Camp was victorious running over their opponents with a 4-1 scoreline.Last Sunday’s games saw Sniper United beating Bethel Town 2-0 while Daaksyde and Gunners played out a 0-0 scoreline.

Twelve teams will be playing for over 100,000 in cash and prizes. The competition is expected to run until the 25th of August with games playing each and every Sunday afternoon starting at 2:30 PM. Teams are expected to always be on their best behavior.

This Sunday’s games will see, RG FC VS Morning Glory at  3:30 pm and Sniper Utd vs Mountain View 4:30.
