Jamaica Sports News: Trendsetters FC was crowned champions of the Jennifer Hull sponsored Old Harbour Glades 9-a-side corner league thanks to a 3-2 penalty win over Spring Village.

The teams had played out a goalless draw in full and extra time.

The league which was played for the 13th consecutive year attracted 20 teams and is part of an effort to help maintain the peace in Old Harbour communities.

Staying in St Catherine because Amalya and Grabba will contest the final of the Andre Russell sponsored Old Harbour 8-a-side league.

Amalya clipped World Eleven 2-1 in their semi-final. National representative Vishunal Harris scored the winner.

In the other decider, Grabba had an identical 2-1 against Hotspur.

The final will be played on August 26.

Meanwhile over in Clarendon, Comfort FC and Prospect FC will contest the final of the Supa Feeds and Agri Enterprise 6-a-side Osbourne Store summer league.

Both teams needed penalties to reach the final after playing two goals

Comfort edged Battasea 4-3 on penalties while Prospect also had a 3-1 penalty shoot out win over Rock FC.

Both teams had played out goalless draws in full time.
