St James, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Couple Drowns in Lilliput: The bodies of a woman and a man who are alleged to be a common law couple were fished from a section of the sea in Lilliput, St, James between Saturday evening and Sunday morning.

The police indicated that the female who is identified as Keisha Cole of Bamboo Lawn in Lilliput was fished from the water about 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2017, while the body of the man was fished from the sea about 5:00 a.m. on Sunday.

Reports are that residents saw the body of the female floating in the water on Saturday afternoon and alerted the police. The body was removed and transported to the Falmouth Hospital where she was pronounced dead. Several hours later on Sunday morning, fishermen discovered the body of the male floating in the sea and again alerted the police. The victim was also removed and pronounced dead at hospital.

The police stated that both victims could have died by drowning but foul play has not been ruled out as a cause of death.
