Latest Jamaica News, St Catherine (McKoy’s News): The Joint military forces are reporting success on a number of operations carried out in Central Village on Sunday, February 2.
The operations led to the seizure of a quantity of cocaine, ganja, one homemade handgun, and several assorted rounds of ammunition.
Reports by the police are that between the hours of 10:00 a.m., and 3:00 p.m., a joint police-military team carried out an operation in Big Lane.
During the operation, five men were detained for processing and the lawmen seized 1 1/2 pounds of ganja, one homemade handgun, fifty one 9mm rounds, one 5.56 cartridge and one 7.62 cartridge.
