The police in the parish of St Ann say they have commenced an investigation surrounding the shooting death of a man in Hampton district, in the parish on Monday, August 19.
He has been identified as 40-year-old Cleveland Bruce, otherwise called ” Trooper” a mason also of Hampton district.
Reports by the police are that about 6:00 p.m., on Monday, residents heard gunshots being fired in the area and called the police.
The lawmen rushed to the scene, and upon their arrival, Bruce was seen lying in a pool of blood with multiple gunshot wounds.
He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
