Clarendon, Jamaica (Mckoy’s News) – Mocho Man Shot Dead: Clarendon police are reporting two new shooting incidents in the parish. The latest Clarendon gunshot cases reportedly took place in the town of May Pen and in the Pusy District, where two men were one man was shot and killed and another man shot and injured in two separate incidents yesterday.
Forty-one-year-old Devvy Coleman, also called Blacks, of Pusey District in Mocho is reported to have been shot and killed on Wednesday, January 31.
A motive for the killing has not yet been established. He was murdered at this home by unknown assailants.
Mocho Man Shot Dead: reports are that Coleman arrived home at about 7:30 pm and exited his car. He was immediately attacked by gunmen, who opened fire hitting him multiple times to his upper body and head.
He ran to escape and was found collapsed at the back of his house.
Coleman was pronounced dead at hospital.
The second murder occurred earlier on Wednesday when a lone gunman shot and injured a May Pen barber.
Reportedly, the gunman entered the barber shop and brandished a gun, a tussle ensued between the barber and the gunman. The attacker opened gunfire, injuring the barber.
The gunman made his escape on a waiting motorbike.
May Pen police report that they recovered a 9-millimetre pistol on searching the area.
