Clarendon Man Shot to Death in Bar

Jamaica Crime News, Clarendon: 25-year-old Jovan James, a laborer of Decoy Road in Ebony Park, Clarendon, was shot and killed by a lone gunman at a bar in the area on Monday night,  September 3.

Reports by the May Pen police are that about 9:15 p.m. on Monday,  James was among a group of patrons at a bar in Old Man Corner when a man posing as a customer entered the establishment.

The man ordered some cigarettes and whilst in the process of being served by the bar owner,  the man brandished a handgun and opened fire hitting James multiple times.

The gunman then ran from the bar and made his escape on foot in the area.

The May Pen police were summoned and upon arrival, James was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
