Clarendon Man Arrested and Charged Following Firearm and Ammo Seizure

Jamaica Crime News, Clarendon: A May Pen man was arrested and charged following the seizure of a firearm and several rounds of ammunition at his home on Monday, June 3.

Charged with illegal possession of firearm and ammunition is 37-year-old Aldin Roberts, unemployed of Rose Hall, May Pen in Clarendon.

Reports are that about 4:10 p.m., detectives from the Maypen Police Station conducted a search of a house occupied by Roberts during which, one .38 Revolver with six .38 cartridges was found inside the house. He was subsequently arrested and charged in relation to the seizure.

Roberts is scheduled to appear before the May Pen Parish Court on Thursday, June 13.

Investigations are ongoing.
