Jamaica News: Residents of Decoy District in Ebony Park Clarendon are begging the police for increased patrols in their communities especially at nights.

Their cries follow yet another gun attack in the community on Tuesday night in which a man and woman were shot and injured by gunmen.

They were shot after they tried to raise an alarm while the gunmen attempted to steal their goats.

The Jamaica music fraternity was plunged into mourning after the passing of “Carrot” formerly of world renowned group Third World.

Both are being treated at the May Pen hospital.

The small farm based community has seen a spike in crime in recent times, particularly robberies. A few weeks ago robbers shot and killed two men at a bar in the community.
