St James, Jamaica (Mckoy’s News) — Montego Bay Mortician Chrissy: the Freeport police in Montego Bay, St James say they are now seeking the assistance of the public in gaining the whereabouts of a man who they say is been sought in connection with the death of a mortician in Montego Bay in 2017.
According to investigators, the man being sought has been identified has Joshua Anderson otherwise called Josh or Christopher James of a Norwood address in St James and Portmore in St Catherine.
He is being sought for the murder of Christine (Chrissy) Johnson Vaughn, a popular mortician who spent most of her career at the Delephana Funeral Home.
Montego Bay Mortician Chrissy: Reports are that in 2017, Johnson Vaughn who resides at Tate Street in Montego Bay was at a party being held at Bogue Village in the parish when she got involved in an argument with Anderson.
The accused reportedly pulled a firearm from his waistband and fired several shots hitting Vaughn to her upper body.
Anderson then fled the scene.
The police were alerted and the wounded mortician was rushed to the Cornwall Regional Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The St James police say anyone knowing the whereabouts of the accused is being asked to contact Police 119 Operation King Fish, Crime Stop or the nearest police station.
