Shooting At Challenge Basic School In St James

St James, Jamaica (McKoy’s News)- Shooting At Challenge Basic School In St James: The St James police are investigating a shooting incident which took place on Tuesday, November 14,2017, in the afternoon at the Challenge Basic School, which left one man critically injured.

Reports by the police indicate that some time around 2 pm, a man went to the Challenge Basic School to pick up his child when he was attacked and shot by two armed men, who had walked on to the school compound.

The man,who was critically injured ,was transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital, where he was admitted. He remains in critical but stable condition.

The two armed men escaped  on foot.

The police have not yet established a motive for the shooting ,which left school staff as well as the young children, traumatized, and fearful for their lives.
