Cash For Gold Vendor Murdered in Montego Bay

Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Cash For Gold Vendor Murdered: The Barnett Street police in Montego Bay, St James are now carrying out investigation surrounding the death of a man who was shot and killed by gunmen, downtown Montego Bay on Monday night,  January 15.

The victim has been identified as 27-year-old Mario Parkinson, otherwise called Mario, of St James.

Reports are that about 11:00 pm on Monday, business operators in the vicinity of Union Street and North Lane alerted the police that gunshots were being fired in the area.

The police rushed to the area and upon arrival, they stumbled upon the victim who was seen lying along the roadway in a pool of blood. The victim had multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.

He was transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Parkinson is now the fourth person to be shot and killed in Montego Bay since the start of the year.
