Caregiver Murdered in Kingston

Latest Jamaica News, Kingston (McKoy’s News): Caregiver Murdered A 32-year-old Caregiver was shot and killed, while a 10-year-old child was shot and injured, after gunmen invaded their home along Myrrh Villa Road, on Tuesday August 20.

The deceased has been identified as Teresha Lewis, of the same above address.

Reports by the Denham Town police are that about 2:50 a.m., Lewis along with other family members and the child were at home, when men armed with guns forced their way inside the house.

The family members attempted to flee the scene, when they were fired upon by the men who shot Lewis and the infant multiple times.

The police were called to the scene and upon their arrival, both wounded victims were rushed to hospital where Lewis was pronounced dead, and the child admitted in serious condition.
