Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Car Cable Repairman Killed: The Freeport police in Montego Bay are now searching for a man involved in a hit-and-run that claimed the life of  30-yr-old car Cable Repairman, McKoy Maxwell. Maxwell was hit while heading to his Granville home address in the parish on Monday morning (September 12, 2017).

Mckoy who is a popular cable repairman inherited his skills from his father who migrated to the United States. All his family and friends are now in mourning at his business place along 24 Union Street.

‘He was very nice to us, he was jovial and considerate, he was always smiling, at times he would call and ask if am ok and promised that everything will soon be ok, getting this sad news, I don’t know how to cope with it,’ said his sister Tashane.

It is reported that the incident occurred some minutes after 1:00 a.m.,  just in the region of the Vista Print office located along the Fairfield Road in Montego Bay.  Both the damaged car and motorcycle have been removed from the scene and taken to the Montego Bay Freeport Police station.
