Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Canadian Woman Busted: Canadian woman Marisa Warren, 25, has appeared before the St. James Parish Court on Tuesday, July 11 for trying to smuggle two pounds of cocaine into Canada.

She will be sentenced on August 14.

Warren, who resides at Tenth Line, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, appeared before Parish Judge Sandria Wong-Small on charges of possession of cocaine, dealing in cocaine and attempting to export cocaine. She pleaded guilty to all charges.

According to court records, on June 29, 2017, about 3:00 pm, Warren was preparing to board a flight to Toronto from the Sangster International Airport when she was stopped and interviewed.

She was searched and an unusual bulge was felt in her groin area. A package with the cocaine was subsequently removed from her person. She was arrested and charged.

On Tuesday, Judge Wong-Small deferred sentencing until a social enquiry report is done on the accused woman and remanded her to custody until August 14.
