Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Cambridge Man Murdered at River Bay Road: A farmer who hails from Copperwood District, Cambridge, St James was shot and killed by two gunmen along River Bay Road in Montego Bay on Friday evening, August 18th.

The victim has been identified as 27-year-old Romaine Myrie.

Reports by the Barnett Street police are that about 6:45 pm on Friday, Myrie drove his 2007 Toyota Corolla motor car to a garage along River Bay Road to have it repaired.

He had just driven up to the garage and alighted from the vehicle when he was approached by two men who brandished firearms and shot him over eight times all over his body.

The gunmen then made their escape on foot in the area while the wounded victim was transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
