Jamaica News: The Jamaica Combined Cadet Force (JCCF) is looking to become a presence in primary schools while also expanding in secondary schools across the island.
Commandant Colonel Errol Johnson says the JCCF has a duty to help steer boys and young men from the pitfalls of society including crime and mold them into upstanding men.
Colonel Johnson was speaking at the JCCF’s Volunteers’ Conference at the Manchester High School in Mandeville.
The move by the JCCF received the backing of Chief of Defense Staff Rocky Meade who was a speaker at the function.
