Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: Detectives attached to the Counter-Terrorism and Organized Crime Investigation Branch (C-TOC), say they have taken four persons into custody, in connection with Breaches of the Pharmacy Act.
The names of the four accused, which includes the owner of a Kingston Pharmacy, a Pharmacist, and two employees, were taken into custody during an operation carried out at the establishment on Thursday, September 13.
Reports are that, a team of C-TOC officers and Personnel attached to the Pharmacy Council, visited the pharmacy about 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Upon entering the establishment, they noticed irregularities in the way which drugs were being sold and this led to the four being taken into custody.
The police stated that the four accused have not yet been charged, as investigations are ongoing.
