Businessman Shot And Injured in Montego Bay

Latest Jamaica News, Montego Bay: The Montego Bay police are carrying out an investigation surrounding the shooting and injuring, of a popular businessman at a location in the second city on Monday night, August 5.

The name of the injured businessman who is affectionately called “Head” is being withheld by the police.

Reports by the police are that about 7:30 p.m. on Monday, the 27-year-old businessman who resided in Lottery, St James, was standing on a premises along Wallace Drive, when he was ambushed by armed men.

The gunmen opened fire shooting the businessman to his upper body, but he managed to run to a section of Hart Street where he collapsed.

He was transported to hospital where he was treated and admitted in serious condition.
