Bus Operator Shot to Death in Downtown Kingston

Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: The Denham Town Police have now launched an investigation surrounding the shooting death of a man in the downtown area of Kingston on Tuesday, May 15.

The deceased has been identified as, Peter Allen, 65-year-old bus operator of Bond Street in Kingston 14.

Reports by the Denham Town Police are that, shortly after 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Allen and some friends were sitting and having a drink at a bar located along Darling Street in downtown Kingston.

Minutes later, two armed men entered the establishment and opened fire hitting Allen all over his body.  The men then escaped in the area on foot.

The Denham Town Police were summoned and upon arrival, the scene was processed and the wounded man transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
