Bus Operator “Short Boss” Slapped with Multiple Charges

Jamaica Crime News, Manchester: The Manchester police have confirmed that 45-year-old Jermaine “Short Boss” Reid, the bus operator who was shot and injured after he physically attacked a Police Sergeant in Spaulding, Manchester on Tuesday, February 5, was officially slapped with criminal charges few days ago.

Reid his now facing charges of assault occasioning bodily harm, two counts of assault, resisting arrest and two counts of assault at common-law. He is booked to appear in court at a later date.

The police say Reid is behind an incident in Spaulding where he was caught on camera physically assaulting a police officer.
In an aim to defend himself, the officer discharged two rounds from his service pistol, but that did not stop Reid from advancing at him.

He has since being admitted to hospital under police guard but he has now been officially charged.
