Latest Jamaica News, St Catherine (McKoy’s News):  Bus Conductor Killed – A 16-year-old bus conductor was shot and killed, and two other men shot and injured, after men armed with high-powered weapons opened fire on them in a drive-by shooting, in Spanish Town on Tuesday, August 13.

The teenage bus conductor has been identified as Demar Reid, also of a Spanish Town address.

Reports by the Spanish Town Police are that on Tuesday morning, Reid and the other two victims were standing in the vicinity of Kings Street and Burke Road in Spanish Town, when a group of men drove up in a Probox motor car.

The men brandished high-powered weapons and opened fire hitting Reid multiple times. During the hail of bullets, the two other victims were also shot and injured.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, all three victims were rushed to hospital, where Reid was pronounced dead and the other victims treated and admitted.
