“Bruck Foot” Being Sought For Shooting in Flankers, St James

Latest Jamaica News, St James: A man whose identity the St James police has given, so far, only as  “Bruck Foot”, laborer of Flankers community, St James, is being sought for allegedly shooting and wounding another man in the community, on Sunday, July 7.

The victim, a 31-year-old mason of Seaview Drive in Flankers, is presently at hospital in stable condition.

Reports by the Freeport police are that about 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, the Mason was walking along a section of Seaview Drive, when he was approached by the man known as “Bruck Foot”.

It is further reported that “Bruck Foot” accused him of being an informer, and he immediately brandished a handgun and opened fire, hitting the mason in the regions of his arm.

The wounded man managed to run from the scene and was assisted to the hospital, by residents in his community.

A report was made to the police and a joint military operation was carried out in Flankers, in search of the accused. The search was unsuccessful.
