Jamaica Crime News, Montego Bay: An elderly British national was arrested and charged for breaches of the dangerous drug act, after he was caught in possession of three pounds of ganja, at the Sangster’s International Airport, in Montego Bay, St. James, on Tuesday, April 2.
Facing charges of Dealing in ganja, Possession of ganja and Attempting to export ganja is 60-year-old Glenton Morrison, a painter of London, England.
Reports by the Narcotics police are that on Tuesday afternoon, Morrison was in the process of boarding a flight at the Sangster’s International Airport, which was destined for London England.
On reaching the security checkpoint, a search was carried out of his person, which resulted in the discovery of three pounds of ganja.
He was taken into custody by the police and subsequently charged.
